What size should I buy

All faces are different, however our guidance on sizing is:

  • Large

    For most men and circa 50% of women.

    Mouth Width greater than 52mm (2.05 inches)

  • Medium

    For more petite faces and teenagers

    Mouth Width between 47mm and 52mm (1.85 inches and 2.05 inches)

  • Small

    For children - older children

    Mouth Width less than 47mm (1.85 inches)

What a game changer

I've tried so many mouth tapes and always quit due to discomfort etc. But the Myotape is completely different. It's comfortable, easy to apply and being able to open your mouth when needed is wonderful. My sleep has improved a lot since I started using Myotape

Good and bad

First of all, the design is pretty amazing in the way it keeps your lips together while still allowing you to open your mouth if you want to. It works well.
Unfortunately, most nights it peels off around the edges and I wake up with it either half on or pulled across my lips. Not sure if the "non beard" models are better but this one doesn't have a strong enough adhesive.

Mouth Tape for Beards

I have been taping my mouth for years, since I first read the Oxygen Advantage. I had been using cloth medical tape as recommended until Patrick came out with MyoTape. MyoTape works so much better at keeping my lips closed when I sleep. The opening still allows me to have a sip of water during the night without have to remove the tape and reapply. Mouth Taping has changed my life as I sleep longer and am well rested when I awake.

Good if not a little small

This tape is decent! Much cheaper than other name brand alternatives, and less claustrophobic. Helps me keep mouth closed during CPAP usage, and stays attached even with my beard!

Only downside: I have a large face. I have to stretch the tape to the max extension to get it around my lips even when pressed together. I'd gladly try an XL if available, but in the meantime this is my favorite tape I have tried.

Myotape for beards

I bought the Myotape for beards on a recommendation from a friend. I used to wake up with a very dry mouth. I am pleased to say this has not happened since I started using Myotape three months ago and I ma sleeping better than ever. I am also generally more conscious of my nasal breathing during the day which I notice has a calming effect in itself.
